Physical Therapy

Physical therapists help people with physical injuries or illnesses of to regain range of movement and control their pain. Physical therapists, or PTs, help people who have lost motor function due to accidents, illness, a disability, or age. They help determine the root causes of the trauma, counsel patients, and work with them to create a plan for rehabilitation.

Augmentative Communication Support Program

Tempus Unlimited, Inc. had designed a program that supports children that are non-verbal, have speech delay, or are unable to fully express themselves by offering communication technology support. This wonderful program gives families the opportunity to obtain supportive technology to help the child express themselves at home, in school, and in everyday life.

Therapeutic Riding Programs

Horseback riding and equine related therapies use the horse as the therapy tool. The horses gait mimics the gait of the human body, when sitting upright on the horse the body receives similar input as it would if the person was physically walking by working the muscles of the rider. Therapeutic horseback riding impacts cognitive, physical development, behavioral, social, and emotional benefits to children with disabilities.

Supported Living Program Overview

The Supported Living Program helps adults with physical and developmental disabilities live more independently in their own homes and apartments throughout Southeastern Massachusetts. The program provides Case Managers who help consumers manage their affairs and their Personal Care Attendants (PCAs). Options is an approved provider to serve consumers referred by MRC, DDS, ABI, MFP.

Adult Foster Care is a MassHealth-funded program that provides in home support to caregivers/ family members and AFC members and consumers. AFC members are individuals who are 16 years and older who need support in daily living. Support can be:

The Personal Care Attendant (PCA) Program is a MassHealth program that assists people with long-term disabilities live at home independently. This is a consumer-directed program, which provides personal care services for people with disabilities.
