ABI/MFP WAIVER PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT UPDATE

Effective 6/1/2026, MassHealth updated its Waiver Participant Agreement for Self-Directed ABI/MFP Waiver Fiscal Intermediary Services. All Waiver Participants who self-direct must review, sign, and return the updated agreement.

By signing it, Waiver Participants confirm they are the employer of their Direct Care Workers (DCWs) and understand what is required to hire, manage, and approve DCW work.

It also outlines the tasks Tempus Unlimited completes as the Fiscal Intermediary, helping ensure accurate records, proper payroll processing, and compliance with MassHealth rules.
